Her breathing was labored, her long limbs moving gracefully over the land. She couldn't believe she was stooping to this. She was already showing, her belly rather large and obtrusive; her predicament was almost ironic humorous. She had told him that she'd be bred within a week of her third birthday, and here she was. The humorous part? That he had been the one to breed her. She couldn't say that she hated him, because that would have been a bald faced lie. Even though she was rebellious in nature, that didn't mean she was a liar. Either way, as graceful as she pictured herself moving, the reality was sorely lacking. Her belly caused her butt to sway from side to side, her hind limbs moving awkwardly in a waddling motion, as her head was hung low toward the ground. She was so tired, but she couldn't stop until she reached the safety of Rayo. She didn't know if Dionysus would be quite welcoming, but he certainly wouldn't turn her away when he realized that all of this was his fault. Her brown eyes glanced about, as she inhaled the scents that lingered in the lands. She faintly smelled him, her nostrils flaring at the familiar scent.
Heaving a breath, she drew to a stop at the entrance. She wasn't in any way hesitant to enter his lands uninvited. No, she was inviting herself in. She simply needed to rest, now that it was safe enough to do so. Lowering herself to the ground, her belly logged like a giant balloon against her legs. Sneering at the sight, she grumbled and laid her head on her knees. How had she known this would happen? What was she going to do if he didn't believe that this, whatever it was, was his? A dark expression flew over her features. Oh he would accept this baby as his own, because the other option was not even an option! He would go to hell before she raised this child on her own! He had made her fat and with child, and she wasn't sure which was worst! It wasn't that she didn't want a foal, she just didn't figure that he'd be the one that gave her one. The way he had preached about changing your fate? Oh, yeah, he was the perfect one to put her wrath on. Jerking her head up, she mustered her strength and lifted her fat belly from the ground.
Moving farther into his land, her gait was just between a lope and a walk. Her belly, as it always did these days, swayed from side to side as thought it was a completely separate mass. She was starving, but did she really need to eat more? What was Dion going to think when he caught her chewing on his grass like it was her's? Giggling, she shook her head from side to side with a smile on her white lips. "Well, he knocked me up so I figure I don't need his permission to eat his grass... He's the reason I have to eat so much anyway..." Lowering her skull, which was perhaps the only thing on her that was still pretty, he lips brushed over the blades, her eyes looking forward as her tail swished idly against her rump. She looked, for all intents and purposes, as if she this was her land and no one else's. She felt the foal kick against her belly and her eyes went wide. The shifting in her stomach was rolling two different way. "TWO! NO WAY IN HELL!" There were two foals in her belly. She didn't even think that was possible. Clenching her jaw, her body tensed and she lifted her frail skull and yelled rather loudly, "DIONYSUS!"

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,548,true] | [atrb=background,http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v452/Rewz/amenbg-1.png] His life had changed and he couldn't decide if it was better or worse now. The decision he had made recently made him uneasy, he was sure of it, but the feeling was different. His mind was in a jumbled mess and he couldn't seem to make much sense of anything anymore but after he returned to Rayo he stuck himself deep within the willow forest and remained hidden day in and day out. Dionysus was rather good at removing himself from sight for a long period of time but he had his reasoning this time. There was no doubt he was attempting to avoid someone....considering the little meeting that had been wasn't exactly what he wanted nor did he expect it to happen. But it happened...and he couldn't take it back ; not that he regretted it. It just - it wasn't him. His unusual eyes opened slowly and he glanced up at the clearing sky. The rain had faded into the far distance, taking the thicker clouds with it and he watched them for hours as they passed by over his head and down toward the horizon. He had seen a glimpse of the sun again with a promise that it'd dry up the small ponds that formed during that storm. Luckily the willow forest hadn't seen much of the storm, the long weeping branches had blocked a good portion of the rain from flooding the forest out. He had hunkered down under a hidden thicket and kept himself in silence for days...
The darkness had faded away and the morning had risen as did he from a restless slumber. His eyes blinked open, squinting through the slight sunlight that pushed through the clouds and the branches that kept him hidden. He shifted slightly and pulled himself up to stand, dragging his exhausted form out from the thicket and shaking himself free of the leaves and brush that clung to him. He was tired, though he had seemed to rest for days but the sleep was far from peaceful. There was no doubt that he wanted to keep himself away from the trouble that was lust or love...he didn't want to get close to anyone or bother with silly love stories but sadly he had slipped into the foolishness that was just that. He closed his eyes slowly and exhaled a rather heavy sigh, defeated with not only himself but with the emotions that continued to hang heavy over his troubled mind. However, has he began the morning he noticed something different in the air, something that made his eyes narrow and his body tense slightly at the unwanted feeling that began to loom over him. There were a million voices telling him to escape Rayo while he still could but that one little voice that demanded him to stop being so damn withdrawn and go face whatever he had to face. And he knew. The voice or...scream echoed through his land bouncing off the empty space and throwing it around for minutes. Endless, ungodly minutes and he winced when his name rang through his ears. The voice sounded pissed....or annoyed, or both.
Dionysus released a muted sigh before forcing his legs to move in the direction the shriek came from. He eyed the distance carefully and he took note of the figure who stood awkwardly before him. He had some time to work over the scene over in his head ( what he wanted it to be and what he knew it would be ) and he closed his eyes for a moment, letting it all sink in and allowing himself to prepare for a lecture, a screaming fest and an attempted beat down. Though he knew she wouldn't be able to do much in her condition - caused only by himself. It wasn't like she refused it! She could have said no. Hell, he could have said no but neither of them did and it led them to the situation they were in now. Him trying to forget and her pushing into his lands like she owned the place and throwing herself around all demanding. He squinted as he approached, his eyes landing on her rather large belly before avoiding it altogether and moving toward her tense and angry features. He kept casting glances toward her swollen stomach but didn't dare piss her off any further and moved his gaze to her again. "Is yelling my name really necessary?" He questioned quietly, the dull expression returned to his face and he shifted uncomfortably. "Your looking....well, Aiko. Are you here on one of your little late night escapades or are you actually going to stay this time."

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,548,true] | [atrb=background,http://i1010.photobucket.com/albums/af224/AnteaterJade/aibg-1.png] If you looked in my eyes, would it even matter what you saw?
She eyed Dionysus testily as he approached, his obvious appraisal of the state of her being making her grit her teeth. Her belly was massive and swollen, the two forms within shifting a bit and making her sides heave for a moment. In an obvious act of rebellion, she let her eyes roam over him as if he looked just as out of sorts as she did. He didn't though, to her disdain. He was all lithe and muscular male, and had this way of sending butterflies to the pit of her stomach. She couldn't let herself think to long on that, for her anger was already beginning to dissipate the longer she looked at him. Inhaling heavily, her eyes narrowed at the pause of his statement. "Well, I'm certainly not going to stand here like an idiot and let you take your sweet time getting to me!" She snapped, trying in vain to hold on to her anger. This was the stallion that was constantly on her mind. No matter how hard she tried to hate him, just the sight of him sent shivers down her spine. But he had been the very one to destroy her chance of changing her fate, even as he had been the one to give her the hope that it could have been changed. Now she was going to spend the next two years nursing children. She would become the ninny of the herd, much to her distaste. Stallions and mares alike would never see her for the young and beautiful mare that she could have been. Now she would only be seen as a mother. She was quite certain that as soon as these two were grown, she would be immediately bred again. Her life was doomed to be void of excitement or passion. No matter how she viewed their coupling, she was always reminded that it was lust and not love. And that made all the difference in whether passion existed.
Stepping forward, she tilted her head and smirked lightly at him, her lashes fluttering with the joy of knowing that her next words would peeve him. "You know I cannot stay. I already have a herd. If you're expecting to raise these two as your own, you are sadly mistaken. Perhaps some stallion in Enth will provide the father figure they will lack..." She was goading him in an attempt to get what she'd always wanted and he had yet to provide. An escape from Enth. She couldn't very well leave Enth on her own will. Diavolo was a protective lead and would certainly come for her. Dionysus had failed to think of the consequences of his actions, and that provided her with everything it would take to spur him into action. The beings within her both kicked out, and as she did every time she felt them move, her eyes widened and she spooked to the side. Her pink nostrils flared and she twisted her neck to aim them at her belly. Her long locks waved across her neck with the action, her forelock blocking her view as she sniffed at her own belly. Shaking her hair from her eyes, she lifted her head to peer at him again. Completely unlike her previous actions, she stepped toward him and pressed her skull against his chest affectionately. No matter how strong or pissed off she seemed, deep inside she was terrified. This was all so new to her, and even though she'd always said this would happen to her, she'd never known the reality of what being pregnant and alone was.
"I'm scared Dionysus. I go to sleep every night fretting over how I am supposed to raise a child on my own. And now I must raise two?" She muttered, rubbing her face against his chest; the most tender action she'd ever performed in her 3 years. She started trembling, whether from frustration or terror, and she tore herself away. What the hell was she doing? Why did she have to beg him to bring her to Rayo? If he wanted her to stay he should have done something about it! Instead, he expected her to run away and for Diavolo to have to issues with it. "I'm going back to Enth, Dionysus. Whether it is to raise our children by myself, or await your confrontation with Diavolo to bring me here, that is up to you." Heaving an unsteady breath, she looked toward the exit, still tired from her journey here. "I need to rest before I leave, though..." She muttered as she look around for a comfortable tuft of grass to lay in. "Follow me." She spoke, as if she were the one in charge and not him. It was the complete opposite, however. She new that if he commanded her to do something she would in a heartbeat. But why in the world would she let him know that? Walking slowly to a soft patch of grass, she lowered herself slowly, her limbs oddly worn out. She felt so weak and useless, almost pitiful. Her head drooped and she inhaled a deep breath, attempting to relax, though she was completely unused to what was going on with her body.

Certainly if he had a choice he would of turned right around and left her to dwell on her own. Sadly, he didn't have that option nor did he allow her to realize that he was contemplating it. He eyed her quietly as she drank him in with her eyes, his expression blank and lifeless as she watched him and planned her words over in her head. He was hardly amused with the fact that he knew she would spit out some smart alack remark like the child she was but not willing to admit. There was no doubt he wasn't afraid to remind her that she had the attitude of a 1 year old and her spitfire exterior wasn't impressive to anyone's naked eye. He however, wasn't one to boast nor did he give her the pleasure of an argument because that was honestly, the last thing on his troubled mind at the moment. Dionysus was still attempting to cope with what had happened back at the falls, in the cave, in the dark...alone. She was injured but as the hours passed and it was obvious her leg wasn't broken but merely sprained the situation turned for the worst. Maybe not the worst but it surely was a dangerous act and game he was playing with. There was no doubt he would be hearing about this from someone lurking within her herdlands, someone who would question her swollen stomach and not so adjusted attitude. "I would have taken longer if I'd known you'd be throwing another little fit." Blinking calmly he looked past her and toward the thick line of willow trees that lay in heaps around the forest. It was almost a safe haven and he admitted only to himself that he enjoyed himself here ; only alone.
When she moved he didn't make an attempt to meet her half way or move away from her. His attention shifted back to her and his ears twitched slightly to her voice but he didn't give her the satisfaction that it certainly did strike a very small and delicate nerve that he never admitted he had to anyone ; not even himself. He watched her with a dead stare for a moment before his lifeless eyes narrowed dangerously flashing a vicious stare before slowly returning to their normal dead state. "A herd you rarely spend any time in anymore. You forget that I know you lurk within the walls of Rayo trying desperately to figure out a way to leave Enth behind without confrontation." His lips twitched slightly at the corners before pursing into a thin line, invisible brow furrowed in slight frustration. "If you want the little prince to help you raise the children then...that's your choice. Or maybe the little prince isn't such a charming devil everyone might think he'll be. Maybe he'll kill them before dragging you off to his own little private hell and use you over and over again. Is that really want you want?" Perhaps his logic was a little to harsh but he spoke the truth. Boys will be boys and he sure as hell was no boy He raised himself from a young age and had to learn how the world really worked, how his life really was. He eyed her carefully for a second before scoffing, she was so sure her words would have cut him deep and maybe if he actually had outer emotion, it would have been written on his facade. Sadly, he kept everything buried deep and it rarely rose to the surface.
Dionysus was to busy speaking a false reality to notice her nervous gesture toward her enlarged stomach or the fact that she now stood with little distance between them. Her warmth was inviting but he would never admit it to anyone, not even himself and as she pushed her head against his chest he peered down with her. Blinking calmly he listened to her words, the terrified feeling leaking off of them as they left her pale lips and he sighed heavily. He couldn't take any of it away even if she wanted him to. "Not that I'm okay with the idea of this but you have options. You could leave them for someone else to adopt if you are that terrified and scared. However, you're hardly alone in this situation. Do you think I would actually leave you to fend for yourself? How heartless to you really think I am..." He faded off into silence as she rubbed her head against his chest and he shivered just slightly. He closed his eyes for a moment as she pushed the next statement out and he felt his teeth grit almost at once. He opened his eyes, blinking slowly and tilting his head as she stepped away. "Are you bi-polar or something? I swear the constant change of emotions and moods can be both confusing and deceiving.." A muted sigh escaped him as he followed her toward the patch of grass she layed herself down upon. "I will go to your leader and request you come with me...if he refuses then I suppose I'll have to go the other route and fight for you. However, I'd rather the less confrontational.." Dionysus stood near her as he watched her situate herself comfortably, he remained quiet, staring ahead blankly waiting for a snide remark that he knew was most likely boiling over in her mind..
"I TALK LIEK DISS."

Heaving a sigh, she tried to ignore the feeling in the pit or her stomach. Perhaps it was indigestion, because she was eating so much, but the niggling that he was right about everything he said lingered. She had been hiding in Rayo, unable to ask him if she could stay. She knew the answer, but could she very well allow herself to get wrapped up in him if Diavolo might come for her? Would Dionysus even try to keep her? Swallowing, she feared she knew the answer to that question. Tossing her skull, she looked away from him batting the lashes. Had she ever made it seem like some prince might help her raise their children? Had she given him a reason to believe that she didn't want to be here? She snuck here in the dead of night, because she felt safest here. Could she really do this? Put herself through the hellish pain of being here as only the mother to King's children? It didn't bode well that she was this far along and still belonging to another herd.
Snapping at him, she pinned her ears, her voice leaving her lips on a quiet lilt. "I could never give my babies up! The idea is asinine! Almost as asinine as it was for me to believe you might actually want me!" Pushing herself upward, her large belly heaved and she tucked her lips to her chest in a comforting motion. What the hell was she doing? If he wanted her he would have taken her. Yet, here he was still discussing things as if there weren't only one option available! Why should she settle when he obviously wasn't willing to? She might have been terrified, but the small souls that grew within her? She could never even entertain the idea of giving them up. Her heart-rate accelerated, her eyes peering unfocussed at anything but the brute before her. Clenching her teeth, she stepped backward, her skull flying toward him as she snapped her teeth in heated anger. "You are leaving me to fend for myself every time I must trek back to Enth! Everytime I must worry over whether my babies will know their father, or if I'll have to play both parents in their lives! You, of all people, know that it's not my choice on whether to stay or not, Dionysus. I am a claimed mare, and not yours in any sense of the word! Me staying here is just begging for Diavolo to feel betrayed, as well as angry about the deception of me sneaking away in the first place, and to confront you about it!"
So now he was willing to meet with Diavolo, but he didn't want confrontation? Seething in anger, she tossed her skull away from him and stepped around his taller frame. "You know what, Dionysus? Don't bother. I don't know if I want to be here if it takes a blow-up like this to convince you to bring me here to stay." Choking on the words, she pursed her trembling looks and battered than dampness of her lashes against her cheeks. She had come here hoping he would be goaded into finally taking her away from Enth. The mere thought that he had believed giving her babies up was an option, struck her hard in the gut. He had caused this, despite saying it didn't have to happen. Taking a few steps away, she peered back over her shoulder, her face awash with emotion and disappointment. "I could have gone to any land and found refuge, Dionysus. I came here... for you..." Her body stiffened at the admonishment of her feelings for him. It might not have been love, but she certainly couldn't say that it wouldn't develop into such a thing.
Fixing her gaze back ahead of her, she stretched her limbs outward to Enth, her large belly swaying lightly with her gait. Her tail twitched smartly against the air, giving attention to her mood. Could she come back here and live with herself? Could she even imagine him being a part of her children's lives when he had so easily suggested giving them up? The mere idea that he had seen fit to crudely suggest that some prince would use her body after ridding her of her kids, made her choke on emotion. If that idea didn't bother him than there really was no point. No matter how she felt about him, she had to concern herself with her well-being. And perhaps being with him was not conducive to that.
