Personality: Áedán is a handsome young fellow, and it's something he knows well. This stallion is a proud being who believes that he has earned his place in the higher calling. He's not prude, or anything, but he does believe he deserves respect. He's a charmer, and a manipulator, willing to let others take a look at him and think he's the perfect gentleman, but watch out. This boy stings hard and fast, and once he's got his talons into you, honey you're not getting out. beneath the charming mask is a cold, cruel hearted beast. One who enjoys pain, as well as pleasure. He's demanding, aggressive, and he'll take what he wants. He's not above force claiming, or force breeding to get what he wants either, and he'll do both to put a mare in her place. He believed that males are the dominant gender and he'll be ready to defend that belief as well. He sees mares as breeding machines, and passion filled toys. Something to be played with and nothing else. But, you only see this side of him when it's too late. Once he has you in his grasp. And oh honey, once he has you, he's not letting go.
History: Here we have young Áedán. He, and his twin sister were born to the Lead Stallion by the healer mare, a mare named Nirvana. She was a middle aged mare though, who spent her time healing and working with the other horses, leaving the foals to fend for themselves. While his twin sister, Heaven, was adored by all the females, fed by many who felt bad, he was the forgotten one, his heart growing cold to the females that only took care of their own, not realizing that he wasn't included because he was the one who hung back.
He didn't last long in the herd though, weaning himself off his mother earlier then normal, acting violent and cold. It wasn't until another, younger filly came to him asking to play that he snapped. He attacked her, thinking she was tormenting him, making fun of the fact he was always by himself. By the time he was pulled back by his father, the filly was badly injured, and in tears, and as he looked around, only one of the shock, tear-filled, fear-filled face struck a cord in his heart. The look of his terrified twin sister, her eyes wide and confused before she was being herded away from him, he banished from her. She fought to get to him, just one last nuzzle but was unsuccessful as the other stallions ganged up, chasing him out of the herd. He never saw his sister again.
He grew angrier, blaming the loss of his beloved little sister though he was often jealous of her, on that damn filly, the other mares that shepherded her away. The females. It was all their fault, all their fault! And so was born a stallion of cold, dark desires, one who preferred to punish, rather then please those of the female race. His heart is dead now, except for those rare foals who crop up that remind him of his twin, and those precious fillies mares give to him. Beyond that he has no emotions towards mares, just dominating coldness. And that's how he likes it. Let them beg, let them scream. They destroyed him, now he thinks it's his turn to destroy them.
