The dark bay overo stallion snorted. A small sting of pain shot through his side, as his ribs hadn't fully healed yet, and had done a mighty fine job of torturing this large stud. His leg also hurt, both injuries burring the memories of the fight he had with the King Sampson not too long ago. The stallion hated to think of it, the fury and rage that had overcome him, he had become his father in that instance, and the thought of that--the very thought of the monster taking refuge in his body, sent shivers to the marrow.
His brown orbs taking in the land, he tossed his head in satisfaction. He had made quite the journey, the small quantities of pain now seeming to all add up. His ears erect and alert, he raised his maw into the air. His voice bellowing into the air, "I claim this land. The kingdom of Rayo. Shall now be a place that I dwell."
