Centuries ago, lived two wolves, Sihmaima, the wolf goddess of the moon, and Jeikane, the wolf god of the sun. Both were lovers, until one day they discovered they had different beliefs. Jeikane believed in the sun, torturous days, and fighting to the death. He believed in The Horrors, several daemons of the Underworld that guarded it. Sihmaima, she believed in tranquility, kindness, and living. She believed in The Three Stars, the first three wolves who were not yet alive.
Sihmaima carried Jeikane's pups when they thought they believed in the same beliefs. When she borne her pups, she howled, sending her pups' souls into the night sky, and they became the brightest stars instantly, forming the Summer Triangle. The day after the grievance of her pups' deaths, Sihmaima discovered Jeikane believed in the Underworld. Snarling, she and Jeikane broke into one of the worst quarrels in centuries. Sihmaima became Guardian of the Moon and Sea, and Jeikane became Guardian of the Sun and Ruler of the Underworld.

That was centuries ago. Now, the three souls of the Lost Pups have been reborn into mortal bodies, and became Blood, a young wolf who believed strongly in Death, Rose, another young wolf who believed strongly of kindness and love, and the youngest of the litter: Ash. Ash, being the youngest and the runt of the litter, was exiled by Blood immediately. Rose and Ash became close immediately, and after Rose saw the strength in his leadership, she too, exiled her brother. Ash, being exiled by both of his siblings, formed the Ash Pack, who were both strong in leadership and muscles.
Rose formed the Rose Pack, who made dens out of roses and their bristles. They were sweet-smelling, and very sweet in personality. Blood formed the Blood Pack after he discovered his sister and brother formed a pack. His pack was very fast, and they were truly experts at killing. Then they formed the Pact, a treaty that underwent all three packs. They were instantly friends again, and they have been allies ever since Blood broke it; by killing his own family. Together, Rose and Ash had to take Blood's life, and were killed in the process as well.
The siblings were automatically the brightest stars in the sky again, where their mother, Guardian of both the moon and seas, looked upon them with pride. It was then that all five wolves: Sihmaima, Jeikane, Blood, Rose, and Ash, realized that the three packs would live on in tranquility and love.
