He was not born inherently evil, though developed a darker side with age. Emotional. The whole reason he is the way he is, to put it lightly, is from the many attempts to be accepted by his mother and step-father. Their rejection caused his pain, and also made him fear his stepfather. Since he has closed his emotions off to all but his inner circle. When he allows his emotions to show they are much stronger than the average feelings of others. Dislike can come off as loathing, which works the same for the rare emotions of compassion or love. Quick-tempered. He loathes disappointment and failure, since he was often considered both as a child. He reacts the way his stepfather reacted to his small failures as a child. It does not take much to set him off and he is a veritable tyrant when he is set off. Despite loathing that he was treated that way as a child, he doesn't much associate his temper with that of his step-father's. Volatile. His emotions change as easy as the weather. Where one day he might be kind and forgiving, the next day he could kill anyone he doesn't have a particular use for. He has his small highs and lows on a daily basis, but normally his volatile days are attributed to his emotional issues, when he allows his emotions to be 'turned on', so to say. Manipulative. He wants what he wants, which leads him to twist people and situations to obtain just that. He isn't bothered by his controlling attitude, and sees actually no wrong in maneuvering people to achieve his goals. He is calculating, which often makes him all the wiser with who and why he manipulates people and events. Jealous. Much as he was with his sibling attaining their parent's approval when they were younger, he is a highly jealous being. When he seeks someone's attention, which is rare, it doesn't take but a flutter of a smile in another direction to rile the inner Alpha and boil his blood. This also leads him to be extremely protective and domineering. Obsessive. This can be used to describe his attribute with love interests and any of his goals. If it is something that he desires, he will spend a years (of which, he already has), studying, watching and learning every minute detail of that obsession. He will strive to the greatest lengths to achieve his goals, being considered far too obsessive for his own good, by many. Competitive. He competed for the affections of his 'father', so now he competes with others to continue the endeavor. He competes for power, success and ultimate victory. He seeks approval even if it gains him the loathing of the loser. Power hungry. His hunger for power stems from his deep fear of being alone, which he developed from his step-father's treatment. He desires a veritable kingdom, for the soul purpose of constantly being surrounded by those who approve of him. While he may seem the devil, he is a truly kind soul simply lost to his circumstances. Time will show whether or not he has lost all sense of goodness, or if there is a way to bring him back down to earth. History: Rapture was born in Dovia to his mother, Islamara, and unknown stallion. He has a land wealthy stepfather, who resented him for being from a different bloodline, and five half siblings to whom he was very close. Many years prior to the birth of his siblings, his mother had an affair, which resulted in Rapture. His stepfather is responsible for the murder of his father and his family and for reigniting a long forgotten feud between two neighboring kingdoms. After this, he became understandably obsessed with trying to break free of his mother and step-father and the reign of terror they had thrust on him from birth. His brother's and sisters aided him in escaping the kingdom where he had grown up, but never truly been a accepted. As a result, his step-father put them to death and vowed to hunt him down. Rapture knew that no place would be safe, if his parent's were so bent on killing him. He couldn't fathom the idea that you could love someone, yet hate them all the same. It was the only thing that drove his parents. They wanted him as a part of their family for society's sake, but treated him as though he was the very scum of the earth.
