Many of the days had been spent in an unconscious state for her, when they had first arrived - but with each day she was getting better. Her coat shined now, a much more strawberry tone then the grayed out red it had been when Lux found her. She was filling out better, as well, no longer looking malnourished or mistreated, even the scars on her body had faded to near nothing with the care, comfort, and health Lux had been giving her. She smiled faintly to herself as she grazed quietly, before her ears flicked up at the sound of hoof beats, raising her head expecting to see Lux. What she saw surprised her nearly as much as it must have surprised the stallion, for both froze the moment they locked eyes before Gabriel screamed her name and took off at a gallop, closing the distance and pulling her tightly into his embrace. Delight flooded through the tiny femme's body as she cuddled up to her larger, stronger twin, nuzzled her tiny muzzle into his thick mane, her own mane (long and curly) twirled around her neck mixing with his starch white and crimson red locks "Gabriel! Oh how I've missed you." Her brother chuckled, stepping back a half a step It's Áedán now, Heaven, my dear. What are you doing here - and in Lux's herd no less! He declared, grinning at her, his eyes bright with relief and joy. Heaven smiled, "You'll always be Gabriel to me . . . Lux found me when I came to these lands and took me home with him to nurse me back to health . . . I'm afraid that things have not been so well since you disappeared, but that is a story for another time. I'm glad to see you." safe. thats all he could think about. they where safe. he didn't want heaven to wander just yet, just in case she got the sickness. his eyes wandered, he thought about her frequently. over the last few weeks, the winter had started to turn to spring, and so forth. the weather was unbearably hot, at least for this season. fly's swirled around lux, and his whip cord vicously attack them. but, she was healthyish now. he knew aed would be finding a land soon enough. strangely he didn't want that to happen. he didn't want to lose heaven. didn't want her to go with her brother. lux cursed. he was being selfish. what was with him?! he was never selfish like this. Aed was his friend. he shouldn't be wishing that!

lux's patchwork quilt twitched as he watched from a hill, across the lands. he liked Rayo, it was calming. and even better was, that it was all his. he took a deep breath of the fresh warm spring air. there was still a hint of winter, and across the land he could see the sn- wait, wasn't that heaven??? who was that man she was with? they where EMBRACING! panic welled somewhere deep inside, and... what was this? Pain? Yes, that too, but... Jealousy and envy! it was a new feeling. and incredibly horrible and painful. he had to find out who this was! taking off down the hill, full of all these unknown emotions, he came to them.

as he came closer, the stallion seemed familier, somehow, and it slapped Lux in the face when he realized who it was! It was Aed!!!! how did he NOT know this? Was he an idiot? He slowed to a halt near them, looking at Aed, with shame on his face. " Aed.... I'm sorry, i thought.... i thought you where someone else... he said, and a blush flew across his face and he turned to look at Heaven. "Hello Heaven.... I see you found Aed... He said a smile on his face.

A delighted smile had fallen upon her face, mirrored in the bright expression of her brother, who appeared more youthful then he had in years. He laughed with a smile, nuzzling before turning to see the stallion of the land heading towards them, in a full gallop, an amused smile as he realized what had just gone on with his friend long before the stallion slowed to a halt, shamed, and apologizing, Áedán shrugged, even as Heaven turned with a wide smile, "Lux!" She squealed with brightness, cantering to her lead and nuzzling him in greeting, smiling with a bright, delighted expression, "Indeed! I have! And I'm so excited, Oh Lux! I have my brother again! Just like you said!" She declared turning back to smile at her brother who was grinning more at Lux then her, a glint in his eye, Well, thanks for finding her and taking care of her, Lux. Though I suppose I should offer to take her off your hands now right . . .Wouldn't want you exhausted because you're watching over her . . . especially with my own land now . . . His tone was aloof, though his eyes were watching his friend, for any signs that he was indeed on the right track for an explanation for Lux's behavior. It was Heaven who responded first, surprising him, "Oh no, Gabriel, please . . . I much like it here with Lux, please . . . I don't want to leave my home . . ." his mix matched eyes caught a glint of humor in the older stallions eye. he was distracted by the sound of a most beautiful mare calling his name, and had no time to ask what his friend was thinking. soon he was mezmerized as heaven ran to him and nuzzling him. she was happy. it brought a smile to his face. he loved seeing her happy. indeed she had found her brother. " Yes, you did find him, didn't you. i'm so happy that you did find him!" lux replied to her as he nuzzled her back.

Lux's eyes wandered to Aed, and listened to him. he wanted to object. he didn't want his dear heaven to leave him. he wanted her happy. and he figured that the only way she would want that was to be with her brother. at least he thought. right before he was going to say that aed could, heaven spoke up. lux watched her, he was fulling shocked. she wanted to stay? she didn't want to leave him? he could swear that his heart melted, he was goo in her hands. in a slightly dazed tone, as lux looked between the two, he said. "I... I do want you to stay close by... but... if you ever wish to leave and live with Aed.... i'll let you go. his words where soft. why did he feel like this? he was enchanted by this mare, by her voice and movement and personality. it was almost as if he really where in love.

Though the majority of her delight came from him just being here. She laughed, turning, though staying at Lux's side, to smile upon her brother who still was fighting back his amusement, "I can assure you, Lux, not nearly as excited as I am." She declared, a faint giggle on her voice, before tilting her head at her brother, hearing his words and going still. It was only a second to process before she nearly begged for her brother to let her stay, moving closer to Lux, as if afraid he'd suddenly disappear. Mix matched eyes turned onto the pretty little mare who came running to him. her coat was a shining star now, and her eyes where bright. She had a clear laugh, and she had even lost that creepy M'lord thing she had done for awhile. He felt like her confidence had boosted, at least a little.

Lux nuzzled her, and listnened to the pristine lyrics flow from her maw and into his perked harks. "I'm sure that is true darling." He replied to her, and then turned his attention to the larger red beast, but for a moment, until her sound came from her body once more, bringing his atttention to the mare. His smile graced his lips, and he despreatly attempted to keep himself calm. But on the inside, his body was pumping, and his heart was about to burst from his chest.

"Alright, I guess i can live with that." He said. He was surprised his voice kept so calm, he was struggling to not jump around and whoop like a foal. A chuckle brought him from his thoughts and Lux looked up at Aed, who gave him a very knowing smirk, and Lux couldn't help but blush. "áedán, I fear, you know me to well. How is finding your land going? If you have yet to find one, you may reside here in Rayo, And if you have and your land is infected, you may still reside here until the... Thing is gone. He said and smiled a little at Heaven. Either way it would be good for you to get some time with your sister... He said looking at him once more.

She laughed softly, reaching up to nip at mane, "You guess?" She teased back, laughing softly, before turning to look at her brother who had chuckled and gave Lux a look the young femme couldn't quite understand. Áedán, I fear, you know me to well. How is finding your land going? If you have yet to find one, you may reside here in Ray. Áed shook his head with a faint smile, amused, "II have my own land now, Avalon. A handsome land largely hidden by thick fog. I'll show you it some time to ensure that you're all familiar with it." He offered, glancing from one to the other of the two horses, "Naturally you're both allowed to visit when every you desire.

He watched as the other stallion turned his attention onto heaven, looking down at her with a smile. It seemed the two were happy with being together, he though with an amused. Either way it would be good for you to get some time with your sister... He laughed softly, shaking his head with a smile, "I agree, Lux. I'm rather liking the idea of seeing my little sister again. I've missed her greatly." He teased with a laugh.

Her affection could make his heart flutter and fly, and he didn't know why. He had lived for so long, and yet he relized he had not yet live. So far this painted creature, had danced her way into his life, and now... it was interesting. No longer was it boring, or dull, with the same old routine. Get a girl, play her, break her heart.... It was always the same game. That silly game he started after his brothers where gone.

He felt the tug of mane and he smiled down at her and pressed his warm and soft muzzle on her silky shoulder, breathing her unique scent. "By the way Heaven, your looking much better." He said, his voice low so that she could hear but not her brother.

His attention was diverted the to the other older stallion, and he listened intently to him. So he had a son now? Thinking back on it.... He remembered a bay mare, that Aed had. She had his child but that was the last he had seen of her. But that was at least a year or so ago... wasn't it?

And he had a land now. That was good, Aed was a good leader and deserved to have one. And the land was safe from the virus. Which was even better. The smile on the other stallions lips was a rare sight, but Heaven seemed to bring it out of him, and honestly Aed looked younger than he had in a while. He usually looked stressed, and kind of moody.

"It would be good to meet your son, and to see your lands. And i am beyond glad that you too, are safe from the Virus. How long will you be staying, I might ask?" He asked Aed and watched as he went to reply

She couldn't help but enjoy his company, want to stay with him, even if her brother was here. Said brother was watching the two with obvious amusement, a faint eyebrow raised, tilting his head as he observed the small tells between his sister and his friend. His eyes picked up the way the male smiled down at his sister when she'd tugged his mane, the muzzle pressed against her shoulder. He'd said something that brought a blush to the femme's face, though the ol' boy couldn't guess what it was. Heaven glanced up at him, before nudging his neck lightly with her own muzzle, tongue darting out to lick it with a familiarity that wasn't lost on her brother. "I feel a lot better." She admitted, her eyes twinkling to silently announce that Lux was in large part the reason she was doing so well. Áedán coughed then, a smirk on his muzzle, "Well, if you two are done flirting now . . ." He teased, just to see his sister blush brighter and hide her face against the other's shoulder. Áed chuckled in amusement, before speaking again with his companion, talking about his herd, and his land. It would be good to meet your son, and to see your lands. And I am beyond gland that you too, are safe from the Virus. How long will you be staying I might ask? Áed thought for a moment, "I might request a night with in your lands, Lux, but I cannot stay longer. I don't want to be gone from my lands for too long. I have a . . . sensitive situation back home, which is the primary reason I came. I've got a young mare, probably no more then two or two and a half by the looks of her. She's got someone after her, Lux, never seen a child so afraid. And I wanted to see if you'd be open to taking her in should Avalon be invaded, or staying there would no longer be the safest option for her. I'm truly concerned. The beasts that tried to get at her . . . I'd never seen someone hurt a foal in such a way . . . ." Áed paused, his mind thinking back to a different female, one he'd foolishly attacked when he was just a colt and had taken her presence the wrong way. He shook the thought off as he watched his sister turn to Lux, an unreadable expression on her face. Heaven didn't like the idea of the child possibility being in danger, and it was obvious in her eyes as she looked up at Lux as to why she felt this way. She'd been that same female, chased down and hunted by the stallions who had held her captive for so long. She pressed her cheek against the stallion's shoulder, borrowing strength from him to remind herself that she was at least safe. Lux would never let anything happen to her, "Lux, we can't let anything happen to the poor child. I think we should agree, to keep her safe if Avalon can no longer protect her." She said softly, looking up at her mate with a hopeful gaze. "Shouldn't we? If it's truly needed?

[/color]" She asked the stallion who had long ago become her own hero. She was safe from her past, and she hoped the child could soon be safe from her own as well. Áedán added in, as if to give a final selling point, "It's unlikely that it should happen, I just want a safe haven for the girl if it should."
