But a heir and a princess). The days had begun to blur together towards the end of her term, and just a few days ago contractions had started. She knew the signs of when she was ready for child birth, and she slowly had begun to prepare to venture away, deeper into Lux's lands where she'd be protected and at piece for when the time would come and the foals would be born (foal to her(. That had been a handful of days, and now, as she lay panting in the soft grass, two bundles of joy where curled up against her painted belly. She eyed the foals in obvious awe. They were curled around one another, eyes closed and asleep. The handsome bay dun roan overo, and a lovely little grullo roan overo. They both sported their father's appaloosa genes, and had his mix-matched eyes (though she supposed they could be from her family two considering her brother). She smiled softly before lipping the tuffs of mane as she stood. The young male blinked open his eyes first - one blue, one brown. The filly's were reversed, her brown eye on the opposite side, and her other eye a lovely green. She nudged them up to a standing position, no longer able to let them rest, her own body rested enough to introduce the foals to their father. Avada, her sweet little daughter, cuddled into her side, before sneaking a drink from beneath the dam's barrel. Heaven managed a half smile looking upon her tiny daughter, who's tail wagged fiercely before her twin brother fed. Only when the twins were foal did she start nudging them forward, trotting back towards where Lux usually stayed. She whinnied, ears perked, "Luxuria!

[/color]" She called, as she neared the area, ears perked, head twisting around as she stopped slowly, the twins cuddled up close to her side, as if nervous to be separated, "Lux?[/color]" She reached down to nuzzle Avada who had pressed herself against her mother's face, and was lipping rather determinedly at the ends of her mother's mane that was just short enough to evade the foal's constant attacks. Heaven giggled faintly, before looking up again for her stallion, saying the words that would get him to her in seconds, "Lux, come meet our children.[/color]" Children. Twins. Who would have thought.

But there was the beautiful fall before then, when the colors changed, and the wind got a bite to it. It was a relief to the heat of the summer. This last summer had really been so harsh. The water had started to dry itself up, and he had got worried. It had killed the virus off though, and his herd of only a couple was fine. Though... He knew he was due for another "Surprise". He reached down and pulled the pieces of grass from the ground. He wondered what it was like, to be a blade of grass. Totally content with your life, blowing in the wind, and then... SNAP! Your broken, and suddenly your being chewed, and you are dying in a pit of acid. Then your dead going through the track on its way out. It seemed like such a tragic way to die. To just be ripped from your roots like that. He knew the feeling. To just be ripped away from your family, and to watch them die, and think them dead... Its like your heart is being wrenched out with a claw that's digging in. Memory's flooded the studs brain and he closed his eyes, a sigh escaping his maw. It was something that didn't ever leave. He wanted to see his brothers once more. He wanted to say goodbye. To embrace them, and to show them his wonderful family. Her heard a heavenly voice call out his name, and his head lifted from the grass. Heaven wanted him. A second time now, questioningly this time, and Lux began to move. He thought something was wrong. Maybe something was. What if something horrible had happened??? The next lyrics to dance through the air though, soothed the thought of something wrong and excitement began to boil within. Children? Not child but children! It was twins. He wondered what they looked like. His pace hurried, and he almost slipped, from going so fast. And there he saw her. His gorgeous heaven... And what was that? A beautiful little filly was attempting to attack her mothers mane, which was just short enough where the beautiful little thing couldn't grab it. A smile appeared on his face, and he observed looking for the other one, and then saw the colt. He stood proudly, and protectively next to his mother. The colt looked up at him cautiously, as if he where going to attack the beauty that was Lux's pride and joy. A chuckle escaped the studs lips, and he turned to look at Heaven. "My darling... They are so beautiful. Heaven..." His heart sped up and in all the excitement he had to tell her his feelings. "Heaven, I love you. And i love them. Just the sight of them brings utter joy to my heart. They are truly beautiful, and so are you. He said to her. A smile of true happiness on his lips. A smile touched her face as she nuzzled each child in turn, the filly nipping and attempting to catch her mother's mane, as Heaven giggled faintly before being unable to hold back any longer, and called for the stallion, her stallion, the father of her twins, her heart overflowing. It was not surprising when he'd answered quickly, appearing in front of her. She smiled softly his way, the young filly spinning slightly and pressed against her mother's chest to stare at the odd male approaching now. She snorted, shaking her head slightly, before nipping playfully at her brother who stood tall, proud, and protectively next to Heaven and Avada, the young colt already cautiously watching the male. Heaven smiled at Lux's chuckle as he turned his attention back to her, My darling... They are so beautiful. Heaven... His next words startled her, eyes blinking, as her green eyes looked up at him full of trust, and surprise, Heaven, I love you. And I love them. Just the sight of them brings utter joy to my heart. They are beautiful, and so are you. She blushed, smiling as she nudged Avada gently, trotting up to Lux and nuzzling her face into his neck, before whickering to their twins, calling them forward. "They are perfect, Lux. Absolutely so.

[/color]" She said, before nuzzle his cheek with her own, and adding in a soft, almost shy voice, "And . . . I . . . I love you too, Luxuria. I do.[/color]" She said quietly before Avada, her young daughter, trotted forward suddenly, and bumped her nose against Lux's chest, deciding he must be safe considering that her mother was comfortable around him. The little filly tilted her head, before whinnying shrilly and half reared, resting her forelimbs against her father, using him to finally catch her mother's mane and nip at it playfully, causing Heaven to laugh as she reached over to nuzzle her son, her handsome little Ira, "Lux, I'd like to introduce you to your son, Ira, and your daughter, Avada." She said, smiling up at her King, "Children, this is your daddy.[/color]" Avada tilted her head at the word. Daddy. She glanced back at Lux, wondering if a Daddy was a good thing or not before deciding it was and dropped off her father's chest to press up against it, licking and nipping his pelt affectionately.

He repeated her name in his own silky tones. "Avada..." His attention was diverted to his son as well, looking at the multi colored eyes. " Ira, Avada, I am very pleased to meet you both. A laugh escaped his maw at his daughters final and sucessful attempt to grab her mothers forelock. He nudged Heaven gently, and reached his nose down to touch the colts nose. The colt still watched him suspiciously. He moved foreward though to meet this large beast Lux smiled down at him, a kind one as he aproached, The small colt kind of observed him, but seemed to like him so far. He moved infront of his mother, causing a smile to cross Luxuria's face. "You are a brave little colt, arent you." Lux said to Ira, and looked at Avada and back up at Heaven moving to wrap his thick neck around her. He was in exstasy here. He couldn't believe she had uttered that she loved him back. He had one last question for her though, and he pulled away, bowing down infront of her. "Heaven, I want to offer you the position to be Queen of Rayo, and mate to me... I hope you will accept this... If you do not wish it so, then it shall not be." He said formally, unsure of how to word it to her. A smile touched her face as she watched the stallion meet his new, young twins. Their beautiful little goals. The filly was more then excited to meet the stallion, although the colt was happier to stay close to Heaven and serve as the protector of his mother. a fine colt indeed. Lux smiled down at the filly repeating her name before telling both foals he was happy to meet them. Avada preened under the attention of her father even while it's remained suspicious still. Heaven lipped his mane smiling as she told him she loved him. She wasn't quite prepared for what he said next as he bowed before her. He asked her to be his queen, his mate . . . She flushed before looking down at him "Get up silly!" She squeaked, embarrassed now. "Of course, Luxuria!" She said a vibrant smile on her face. "I would be honored to be your mate and queen!"
