Thoughts raced in my mind. Her reaction after I had spoke and bowed my head in respect to her where not what I expected. Had she never been treated as a lady? Had she never been shown respect? My mind raced. Maybe it was something else. Maybe she just was not used to kind stallions such as I? Yes, that had to be it. But soon, she showed the same respect and repeated as I had done moments earlier. A smile creaped upon my lips. I only hoped she would take in consideration my offer. I would be honored to have such a sweet mare in my lands to share with. Soon she smiled as well, her own voice speaking out, "I accept your offer, as it sounds most inviting in my current state." My own smile grew with the acceptance of my offer. "Thank you, I am honored." A pause before I spoke again, "Come now, before it gets too cold." I guestured to Azrael that we should leave and moved my own limbs in the direction of my lands. I would take her home. Our home.
now to ahon
We were not far from Ahon, my home, now our home. We had to travel through the misty forest some ways but soon came out of it. I looked over at Azrael and gave her a smile. " I hope you like Ahon as much as I do. It isn't much but I still very much enjoy it." I looked back ahead of me again and began to move at a quicker pace. I wished to get back before the snow really began to fall and the temperature dropped too low. We needed to find somewhere warm to rest for the night.
Finally reaching the boundary of Ahon, I slowed. "Here we are." Looking from Azrael to the swamplands that surrounded the inner grassland around the pond, I smiled. I was proud of Ahon. I was proud to share it with another who would charish it hopefully as much as I did. I continued to walk as I wanted to get through the now hardened swampland to the inner grassland where the trees would provide us shelter. "Come." My pace had quickened now but soon we would be where we needed to be and I could talk more with the rosy grey mare who had just joined me.
