But his mind is now riddled with a disease called Posttraumatic stress disorder in which the easy going steed becomes quite paranoid and has fits at the snap of a twig or even a simple trigger word. More serious times he goes into a blackout fit in which he is normally violent in some nature and when he comes to Lev is known to leave after the guilt grows. Which just worsens his condition.
History: Lev had a fairly normal childhood, his mother and father loved him dearly. His mother was a kindhearted quarter horse mare with a soft, quite voice that you had to listen very carefully at times to be able to hear her, and his father was a deep chested friesian mix who's deep voice boomed across the lands even when he uttered a single word. His father was also a very admired war hero that instill a desire to be something in his young son.
As soon as he was old enough the bay went off in search of the Military, wanting to make something of himself and come home so his father would be just as proud of him as he was of his father.
The training, was extremely hard but Levin knew that he had to bite down and truck on. It was no longer just for his father, but for himself. This would make him a better man and sooner or later a better husband and father.
Now, we won't go into all of the details of what he saw during his time that caused him to grow ill with PTSD, you'll have to read his threads in order to find this out.
Medically discharged from the military from the deterioration of his mental health the stallion was too ashamed of himself to go home and face his father. So he turned in the other direction and just...left.

Posttraumatic stress disorder is classified as an anxiety disorder, characterized by aversive anxiety-related experiences, behaviors, and physiological responses that develop after exposure to a psychologically traumatic event (sometimes months after). Its features persist for longer than 30 days, which distinguishes it from the briefer acute stress disorder and are disruptive to all aspects of life. It has three sub-forms: acute, chronic, and delayed-onset.
