He's very blunt and straight forward which is easily a thing that keeps others away from him - for the most part. He finds himself incapable of love. He had only loved one woman before in his life and that was his mother and of course, she passed away - he was very young at the time and had to fend for himself. Obviously he's more mature than normal five year old boys since he had to grow up quickly in order to survive. He hates dramatic beings and will avoid them at all costs and that includes confrontation. Dionysus doesn't deal with stuck up mares or over egotistical stallions, he doesn't put himself up on a throne and honestly doesn't think anyone else should either. All in all, Dion is your basic, every day, Dark, Handsome and Mysterious stranger. History: Dionysus was born to a lord and common herd mare. His father, Zeus longed for an heir but his queen Hera, was unable to give him one, each foal bared died shortly after. It wasn't until Zeus laid eyes on the quiet but beautiful young mare named Semele, Dion's mother. After courting her behind his queens back, Semele gave birth to a son which they named Dionysus. He was the spitting image of his mother however, her bore unusual icy blue eyes. It was a rare sight to see, no one in her family line nor Zeus's had eyes like his. Zeus was prepared to have Dion as his heir until his queen found the three lingering in a secluded thicket. Hera was furious that her mate had gone behind her back and even more furious that she was unable to give the lord an heir. Hera ran Semele and Dionysus out of the land. Semele did her best to keep her son safe however, as time went on she grew sickly and eventually couldn't go any further without the protection of a herd. Each land they came across turned them away because of Dion's unusual eyes ; they called him cursed. As Semele tired to recover, Dionysus went searching for help from anyone he could find but was turned away like before.
