At least it better not. His leg still hurt from the bitch. He moved forward, eyes intent and cold as he stared her down, not about to put up with her shit, even as she stared coldly back at him, Fine, show me this wasteland you call home. He smirked, eyes cold. Wasteland? She would be in a surprise. He gave no reply as he moved forward, nudging her rump with her chest, nipping at her flanks to get her moving, "Then get moving. |
" He snarled in response, herding her back towards Avalon. And god he'd never had to work so hard to get a mare led back home. Every fucking little thing. A butterfly: she chased after it. A flower: she stopped to smell it. A bumbleebee: She followed the damn thing to it's nest. And every single time he had to chase after her ass and get her back on the right track. By the time he reached the outskirts of his land, he was sizzling mad. The mist that came off the heated lake helped to sooth his anger though, feeling it wrap around and cloak his body like the touch of a lover. He stood on the edge of the waterway, looking at the mist that shrouded his island home from view before looking back at the mare, and nodding to the area in front of him. " Do not let the body touch anything but your hooves, or you'll not survive." He stated coldly, before starting across, not bothering to see if she would make it across alright, as he trotted along the raised walkway hidden beneath the mist, covered in a few steaming puddles. Once he touched on the sand of the island shore he turned back to stare at her before leading her into the dense forest, ignoring the growls, caws, and aggressive snarls around him of the wild predators that walked the forest. He'd long ago settled with these creatures to ensure that they worked in company to him, keeping trespassers away from his herd, protecting the land, but not harming his family, his herd. He led her down the trail, saying calmly, " Do not step off the trail, or you will not be seen from again." Before the trail finally opened up into the large meadow of his home, the large cave in a hill showing the entrance to the caverns his herd slept in at night. He glanced around and smile briefly at the sight of his twin sister grazing happily as she kept an eye on the two colts of his land, Kazimer, and Coinin; the later being his heir and her nephew. Heaven's head snapped up, whinnying a greeting to them, beaming brightly at Áedán, before she returned to her baby sitting, and Áedán began to lead Belle inside the caverns and eyed her, " I'll show you the way to the cavern you'll have to sleep in. You are not allowed out of these caverns for the first few weeks, not until you understand the rules of the herd, and will behave." He snapped, leading her down a series of turns and dips, lefts and rights, purposely making her get lost before stopping by a cavern, " Your cavern." Words[/div]

She grunted as he ran his chest into her rear, a threat of a kick was made, but she did not actually follow through with the action. She simply glared back at him and started off. As they moved she did do everything she could to just piss him off, everything she could find she would wander off. She would just glare at him and snort as he made her go back in the direction they were going. She kept her ears back most of the walk; it just seemed to go on forever and ever. Her head was lowered even with her shoulders as she finally fell into line just following along with him. Her blues eyes shifting as they caught everything they passed. She was paying attention, despite what it looked like.
She came to a stop at the pond. A look at the mist as it rolled out over the water coming to the land and sweeping up over their forms. She looked around a moment, half expecting something to jump out and attack them, but nothing did. She turned looking forward as he started across. A lift of her brows for a moment but after he moved out a few steps and she noted he didn’t fall in she would move out after him. She was rather agile on her feet, as she walked across the bridge. Her head turning this way and that, listening to him, but looking around as well. She would lean looking around for a moment, unable to seen any further than she wished she could she shook her head.
A snort was made as her hooves pressed into something different, softer; sand. Her head lowered as her nostrils sniffed the new ground a moment. As the forest came into view she stared up, looking high into the canopy. Her auds pricking forward as the sounds of various animals reached them. She didn’t jump as one growl seemed to be extremely close, but she did side step slightly, pulling her foot up and looking to him as he spoke about staying on the trail. There were a lot of rules to his land and they all seemed to end with ”. . . or you will not be seen from again.” She started wondering how serious he actually was about it. As the path emptied them into a meadow she looked around, the sight of the area surprising to her. She had fully expected him to live in a land of death and rocks.
The call from another was unexpected as well. She would look to the mare that had called to him, and then to the foals she was with. Her eyes looking the trio over as they passed by them. As they moved into the cavern and down into the deeper parts she snorted softly, how could he live underground? It was strange to her, her hooves slid on the stone floor slightly as she was not used to walking on it. She was able to keep her balance though as he led her around and finally to one cavern in particular. A look at him and then to the cavern, what game was he playing at? ”What do I do for food, become cannibalistic?” She asked, half joking.

But damn if she didn't make this the hardest claim. Every. Fucking. Little. Thing. She had to go off and investigate. She couldn't not leave it alone! Well fine. Let her get stung by a bee, bit by a snake. What ever. Still, he was constantly following her, chasing her down to lead her back to the way they were suppose to be going, until FINALLY she fell into line with him, making it so, so much easier. They finally reached the water surrounding his island, heated by the underwater lava pools. He moved across the bridge, head held high and trusting his footing on the pathway he'd followed often, as he made his way across. On the other side he stopped, waiting for her to join him, before walking towards the forest. He gave his warning, not bothering to enforce the fact he was being honest about how quickly death would come to her if she didn't obey the rules, instead merely walking to his land.
Until finally they reached the meadow he called home, seeing his sister, son, and adopted son playing, grazing, and enjoying life. He whickered back as he passed them, grinning faintly at his son, before leading the mare down into the lands below, soon stopping at the cavern she'd claim, What do I do for food, become cannibalistic? He raised an eyebrow at her words, before huffing and rolling his eyes, turning to start down the tunnel, whinnying for her to follow before leading to the underground meadow that would provide more than enough foliage and water for her and the rest of the herd as well, "You should be fine eating here. |
" He responded.' Words[/div]
